Corner of My Crooked Sight
The night was red, with lights the same,
In orange glow and window panes,
Squirrelly talks of acids and vices,
Seem to vent through shadowed cold ices.
Here, responsibility fades,
As I watch fervently as musicians played,
And in the corner of my crooked sight,
I saw golden strands familiar and bright,
That tickled memories so vague in den,
Tormenting to think about again and again.
